Visions of Borneo

This journey is one of the first photographic travel experiences with Adriaan Devillé.

The isle of Borneo, a strangely Belgian-wise divided (Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei) region in South-east Asia is a gift of nature that has been neglected by the human race. The parts of nature that hasn’t been hunted, burned, cut, or destroyed in any other way is the purest in its form. Little by little eco-tourism is pushing the economically important palm-oil plantations away, or at least that’s what I’m quietly hoping for…

One day the rest of the Indonesian archipelago will be no longer a be a secret for me, but in the mean time we keep on travelling around.
