Visions of Laos
Visions of Laos – A country where monk’s wake you up in the morning, famine is nonexistent, and sticky rice and tourism are two of the main ingredients.
The country of Laos, previously even less known as Muang Lao is one of the ‘Indochine’ (not the music group) country’s which mainly served as a producer of coffee and rubber. It was only in 1953 that it was a free state again saved by … communism.
The Tak Bat of the monks early in the morning, the collective fishing and rice production, the tasteful not so spicy food are just particles of my photographic discovery of yet another sublime region.
Due the fact that the south part of Laos, scrubbing against Cambodia, is still a mystery for us, we keep on travelling!
